Our Story
Providing a delicious healthy meal shouldn’t be based on a customer’s ability to afford it. At Living Food Bus we provide a healthy meal to anyone! As members of Christ's Living Church we believe it is our responsibility to help feed the hungry physically and spiritually. As a family we know what it is like to have food insecurities at times in our lives. It can be frustrating and discouraging. We all need help sometimes! We have decided to help serve our community the best way we can one meal at a time.
Here are some FAQ about Living Food Bus:
Are you licensed? Yes! We are licensed through Washington County Environmental Health as a Mobile Food Unit. We are licensed just like every food establishment is required to be. We are subject to all food safety laws. The only difference is we choose not charge for food.
Do you deliver? Yes! We have an amazing young man who has graciously volunteered to make all deliveries for us between the hours of 12pm to 2pm Monday through Thursday. All delivery tips collected go directly to him!
Can I pick up my order? Yes and no. We are parked on private residential property so we are limited by the city to the amount of customers we can have per a day and our parking is limited. We do NOT share an address publicly because all pick up orders are by appointment only. If you need to pick up your order please message us to make an appointment to pick up your order.
How do I place my order? All food orders are placed through Google Forms (https://forms.gle/nJhJLodnhjbrhwBD9). You can look at our Menu through our website at https://livingcofc.wixsite.com/living-food-bus. You can place your order up to a week ahead! Orders cannot be placed after 10:00am for same day delivery. This allows us time to plan the fastest route to make sure all orders stay hot!
What TIME will my order arrive? All deliveries are made between 12pm and 2pm.
What do I do if I have a problem? If there is a problem with your order please text us at our number 503-866-3077. We are happy to serve you because He served us first!
Can I make a donation? Yes! We accept donations through our charity account on PayPal. We use PayPal Charity because it offers a discount on charges made to a Non Profit Business. However any donations left in the “Driver’s Tip Jar” or cash tips handed to our driver will go directly to him.
How can I help? Everytime you make an order you will NOT be charged. However you can select to donate money for the cost of your meal as well as donate the cost of an extra meal which allows us to cover the cost of someone else's meal too on our PayPal Giving Fund! Thank you for helping us serve our community one meal at a time!
